Ram Gopal Varma REACTS To Ranveer Singh's NUDE Photoshoot: ‘If Women Can Show Off Sexy Bodies, Why Can't Men?
Ranveer Singh’s latest nude photoshoot for the Paper magazine has divided the internet as mixed reactions are pouring in from all. Many Bollywood celebs have expressed their opinions on the actor’s naked pictures. And, filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma is the latest one to voice his thoughts on the same and he extended his support to Singh saying it’s his way of "demanding justice for gender equality." RGV also questioned that if women can flaunt their sexy bodies, why can’t men?

In an interview with ETimes, Ram Gopal stated, “Think it’s his way of demanding justice for gender equality. If women can show off their sexy bodies why can’t men? It’s hypocritical that men are judged by a different standard. Men should have as many equal rights as women.”

Yesterday, at the trailer launch event of Darlings, Ranveer’s ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’ co-star Alia Bhatt supported the actor saying that she does not like anything negative said about her ‘favourite’ Ranveer. Even, the Simmba actor’s close buddy Arjun Kapoor came out in his support and stated that Ranveer never does anything without being himself. His decision to pose nude is just an extension of his personality. The Gunday actor told the paparazzi, “You should be allowed to be yourself. He is that way. Ranveer Singh never does anything without being himself. He is not pretentious. You are seeing him for 10-12 years and there’s the same energy, and warmth whenever he goes anywhere. “It’s his life, his choice, and his social media. He felt it was the right thing to do. He did it. He wants to celebrate himself, he is being comfortable in his skin and we should respect that.”

Meanwhile, as per the latest reports, an NGO has filed a police complaint against Ranveer Singh for allegedly hurting the feelings of women. A case has been registered against the actor at the Chembur Police station in connection with his nude photo shoot.
